Terms & Conditions

  

All quotes are based on the assumption of availability. All quotes for accomodations are based on double occupancy. Depending on your specific needs as well as availablity of your requests, these quotes could change.

 

Your credit card will NEVER be charged until you get a final confirmation from Skimoose, with a final price. You will then be able to decide if this is the vacation you would like.

 

You must contact us back via phone or email to confirm your reservation.

 

All deposits and payments for your Jackson Hole package are taken by Jackson Hole Travel Service, INC./Skimoose, except for Snake River Lodge and Spa bookings. In all but this instance, your Credit Card charge will appear as charged by Jackson Hole Travel Service, INC.

 

You will receive voucher(s) for your vacation package via email about 4 weeks prior to departure.  The timing of receipt is conditional upon when booking is made. Actual vouchers, instructions, lift tickets, etc. will be waiting for you in a welcome packet upon arrival to your Jackson Hole accomodation.

 

The following conditions will apply upon confirmation of your Skimoose vacation:

 

Payment and Cancellation Policy:

 

  • A valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, or Amex) is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Full payment is due at time of final confirmation (read above).
  • In MOST instances cancellations outside 31 days prior to arrival forfeit two night's room and tax.  However, every accomodation, activity, etc. has different policies and high seasons such as holidays have more stringent rules. It is entirely possible that you WILL NOT be able to receive any money back at all. Skimoose HIGHLY recommends purchasing some sort of travel insurance to cover your vacation in case of emergency cancellation.  Contact us if you like, as we can offer you some suggestions for this.
  • Cancellations within 30 days of arrival forfeit FULL AMOUNT of reservation.
  • Acceptable changes will be subject to a $50 administration fee.

Taxes:

 

  • Taxes will be included in the total amount of your vacation package.

Minimum Age Restrictions:

  • Minimum age booking restrictions may apply.

 

Other Policies and Conditions for each part of a Skimoose vacation:

 

Accomodations:

  • If over maximum occupancy for a room, extra charges may apply, this should be paid directly to accomodation
  • Most check-in, check-out times are 4pm and 11am, we will give you specific details upon booking
  • Housekeeping may be an extra minimal charge
  • Gratuities are not included

Transfers:

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservations.
  • Voucher will be emailed to you for your transfer.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for any problems or mishaps encountered with the transfers.

Car Rental:

  • Car rentals will be reserved through, but not paid to Skimoose. The price of the rental will not be included in your final quote. You will pay this directly to the car rental company upon receipt of vehicle.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for any problems or mishaps encountered with any car rental company.

Lift Passes JHMR:

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservation.
  • Once booked and paid, no changes are allowed to the start date or number of days of your JHMR lift pass. Please be sure to pick the correct start date.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for mountain conditions, injuries incurred on the mountain or any other JHMR related incidents.
  • Skimoose cannot offer a refund for any reason for your JHMR lift pass and Skimoose is not responsible for lost, destroyed, or stolen lift passes.
  • If injured on the mountain and you cannot continue skiing/boarding please do contact Skimoose in order to get a refund for unused days.  You will need to have doctor’s note as well as the original lift ticket. We will then submit this to the JHMR and it will be their discretion as to what kind of refund is given.

Lift Pass/Transfer Grand Targhee:

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservation.
  • The date of this voucher is left open. It is your responsiblility to call Skimoose at least 24 hours before you would like to ski at Grand Targhee. If you do not use your voucher during your vacation, you will forfeit the full amount of the reservations.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for mountain conditions, injuries incurred on the mountain or any other Grand Targhee related incidents.  We are also not responsible for any part of your transfer to and from Grand Targhee.

Ski School:

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservation.
  • Instructions detailing the procedure for attending ski school will be detailed in your welcome packet. You must follow these procedures exactly. No money will be refunded if you fail to show up on time for your lesson.
  • Skimoose will not be responsible for any part of your ski school lesson. Responsibility lies soley with the JHMR.
  • Skimoose will not refund any money for any reason. If you have a problem, please contact the JHMR.

Ski/Board Rentals

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservation.
  • Skimoose will contact you for specific ski/board/boot size requirements. Should you provide the above and your ski/board/boot size is not available when you arrive, we will refund your money.
  • Note: no ski rentals can be offered Dec. 22-Jan 3 or Feb 17-21.
  • Ski rental instructions will be provided in your welcome packet. These must be followed in order to rent your skis/board.
  • There is a No Change policy for skis or boards. The class (i.e. performance, standard, demo, etc.) ski/board you start out with is the one you must keep.
  • A $2.00 per day insurance is included in the price of your rental. Demo skis require a $5.00 per day insurance (not included) plus a $100 deductible. You can pay the above directly to the rental company.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for any problems occuring from ski/board rental, including but not limited to faulty skis/boards, bindings, boots, etc.

Other Winter Activities:

  • Cancellations within 30 days will forfeit full amount of reservation.
  • Details about your pickup time, etc. will be included in your welcome packet.
  • To drive a snowmobile, you need a valid driver’s license.
  • Skimoose is not responsible for any part of your winter activities. This will be the sole responsiblility of the company which is servicing your snowmobiling or dogsledding trip. As there are inherent risks in all winter activities, you will be signing a waiver with the companies themselves.
  • Skimoose can offer no refunds. You must ask the company directly.
